Well I goofed. When I removed the chassis from the old panel I didn't label the wires coming out of the radios. I have two wires spliced together onto one ring lug for the KX170B NAV/COM and one wire by itself. The NARCO transponder has two individual wires with ring lugs. Now- am I right in...

I see old Cruisair pictures all the time with what appears to be a sunshade over the top of the windshield. Was this just doped-on fabric or what? Seems like this would be a neat feature to emulate in a ground-up restoration. It would certainly hide the front of my headliner job :wink:
