On my 2002 7GCAA I have a small tear (3/8" inch) on the fuselage belly along the "circular cutout" around the fuel drain. it looks like it could be cut out and have an inspection cover installed. It would need a hole for the fuel drain. Seems like a good idea any way. Has any one ever done this...

I have a 2002 7GCAA with less than 400 hrs. that I recently purchased. I have noticed small amounts of rust specs when sumping the right tank which clears up after several draws from the sump. Looking for the source I found rust around the inside of the filler neck and some on the cap itself...
