    Propeller pitch question

Hello, Today I had the pleasure of removing a perfectly performing cylinder (78/80) from my Franklin 165 because the helicoil backed out as I was removing a spark plug. The cylinder will be on the way to Greg tomorrow. Anyway my question is this. It has been a long time since this propeller has...

    Oil and temps for 165

I have been using AeroShell 100 in my Franklin 165. Is anyone using 100plus? Are the additives in it a good or bad thing for this engine? Also I see in the manual 520 degrees for max CHT using the spark plus sensor. What would be the max CHT using the screw in probes and what would be max EGT...

    165 Franklin exhaust

I am not getting much cabin heat. In fact it is warmer with it off then on. I looked in the parts catalog and it appears that I don't have the standard exhaust and heat muff setup. I have straight 3 into one pipes with muffs but the parts book shows what looks like round mufflers with bigger...

    Wing Root access panel

The gap from the wing root to the fuselage on my 14-13 is covered with fabric but evidently this is supposed to have a removable access cover over it so you can inspect the spar ends and get to the fuel tank lines. Is this correct? If so does anyone have a set of these covers? Kevin
