    50 hours

    fuel burn

    What are most getting on there 150 franklin's for fuel burn? I have made a couple longer trips to check and it seems as I am getting about 7 1/2 gallon per hour burn at 3/4 throttle.

    3 hour flight

    I flew the the old Cruisair to kokomo and back today a three hour flight,the longest flight on the new engine, 9.25 fuel burn at 4500 ft. sure love thes old Franklins!

    STC's

    I have about eight sheets of STC's numbers that came with my aircraft, do not know if the club has all of these on file, some one ran these off years ago they where for 14-9, 14-13, 14-19's anything from fuel pumps to fiberglass resining a wing not that I would do that but some one had it approved.

    Another 14-13-2 in the air

    Yesterday was a big day for me, I finally was able to get 86802 back into the air, need to do a little rigging today to get it to fly straight, then I can get my ten hours of time with Tom Wright so I can fly it by myself.     STC for replacing wobble pump with Boost pump

    I came across an STC for changing out the wobble pump for a Bendix electric one on a 14-13, my plane already has it done to it and I thought maybe some one else may want or need it for there's. Thanks, Joe

    What oil to use in the main landing gear 14-13

    The heading says it all, the book says Lockheed No. 5 I couldn't find any reference on the computer for that? I did not know if 5606 should be replacement or a Hydralic jack oil? Thanks

    N numbers on parts

    As I have been repainting inspection covers, peto tube I am finding part of the N number on all my parts, stamped or penciled on them, Where these all built one at a time? Or is this how they kept track of each part for each plane as being built?

    hangar queens

    I went to look at a 14-19 today that is for sale, what a shame it has set so long and the bad repairs that had been done on the fabric work. What a great plane it had been years ago but the lack of a little maintenance has really added up over the years.

    wing tape to fuselage

    I have been looking at several Bellanca's and some have the wings taped to the rear of the plane and others have a foam strip there, the front has the filler strip. This plane was taped between the two but I do not know what is the correct way? My AP wanted me to find out. Thanks for any help. Joe
