Greetings: I have repaired my bottom cowling after a gear up. I can't tell from pictures if the sheet metal at the air exit on your planes has been bent down to form a lip (as many non cowl flap planes do).......or should I leave it in the streamlined position. I am ready to paint and need to make any bends before that process. A close up picture would be appreciated. thanks Ken

The cowl on my 14-19-2 is straight. I don’t have any really good close ups but these may help.

Hi Ralph... I really like the curtains in your -2... gives the feeling of the good old days. When you have a chance would you post a picture or two showing how they are attached inside? Sorry to go off topic here. Thanks

I always tell people that the way to tell a high-class airplane from an everyday one is to look for the curtains.
I will get some photos.
They are attached to the trim rings inside the windows.
