1413-2 Engine cowl "clip"

My right engine cowl has four small holes where there must have been a clip of some kind that secures the rod that is used to hold the cowl open. I have the four holes but no clip to whatever is used to secure the rod. Additionally, there are no holes on the left cowl although they may have been filled. (I didn't check it.). My questions are: Shouldn't there be the same clip, mechanism, or whatever it is on both cowls? And does anyone have a couple of extras that you would be willing to part with?

I failed to mention that we looked at an original blueprint and it doesn't show anything at all including the Bellanca emblems or any dimensions for the cowl. Obviously, the engineer was having a bad day. :D

there is a bent "kink" in your cowl support rod.. and it rests against the right angle bracket to prop open the cowl.

somebody can send you a picture.

It wouldn't be hard to make one for each side.
