150 TO 160 hp STC???

I know that RAM has an STC for the Higher comp. pistons to be installed on the C-172.
I have contacted them and they where not very helpful regarding my CITABRIA.

Has anyone tried to get a field approval for this??

The STC is extrememly simple, a change of pistons and a POH supplement.

Does anyone have any ideas I think that a large number of us would be extremely interested in this STC.
 
I'm surprised nobody has responded to this four month old post yet. We had the 150 to 160 hp upgrade done on our 7GCBC during overhaul by LyCon of Visalia, CA. LyCon holds the STC, it's # SE00252SE. They also ported, polished and flow balanced the cylinders. It dynoed at just over 180HP. We have about 20 hours on this engine. Performance is outstanding.
