160 HP engine for 7GCAA

I have a 150HP engine in my '78 GCAA, that may need a rebuild and am considering the 160HP O-320-B2B. Got a price from Penn Yan, and they note that I need an STC. Is this a "paper" STC or does some modification really need to be done? I know there's been an article back in 2001(which I'm ordering a copy of) in B-C Contact about increasing HP in Citabrias, but if anyone has any more recent info I'd appreciate y'all sharing

If you have the ACA wings you can use the service letter 430

Basically, you turn the airplane into the 1997+ 7GCAA's (160HP, 1750 GW); post 1974 airplanes have an easier time with that.
