1975 Scout data plate

Hi, I have a Scout project that the salvage company lost the data plate for. I have all the other records and American Champion, which has been very helpful, will issue a replacement with authorization from the FAA. My 2 questions are 1) where was the data plate originally located in the aircraft and 2) is there an aircraft serial number stamped anywhere else on the aircraft? Thanks, Tim

Was on the floor where the passenger would put his left foot.
I do not beileve there was a serial number anywhere else on the airplane. Basically, up until the Airworthiness was signed and Registered and the data plate actually made...it could be any serial number the factory desired.
