My new to me 99 7GCBC is very drafty and cold inside. Both the front and rear heaters put out good hot air but there is such a cold draft from the back that at any oat below 30 degrees F the heaters cant keep up. My previous airplane (66 7ECA) did not have this issue. I have plugged all the holes and cracks that i can find. The GCBC has a metal belly, the 7ECA had a fabric belly. The metal belly has two 5" by 3/4" gaps between the belly and the boot cowl where the 7ECS's fabric belly was sealed up tight. I am wondering if anyone has fixed the drafts by sealing these belly to boot cowl gaps and how they closed these gaps? Any other ideas?
