3 hour flight

I flew the the old Cruisair to kokomo and back today a three hour flight,the longest flight on the new engine, 9.25 fuel burn at 4500 ft. sure love thes old Franklins!
 
Dan, I think I need to post the first pictures of the plane and a story of the 4 1/2 years of getting it back to airworthiness to show it just takes a little time and money to get one of these wonderful flying aircrafts back into the air. The young man that went with me was surprised at how smooth it flew and how quick it climbed out compared to the Piper Warrior he had been flying.
