79' 8KCAB Elevator

The the forward outboard portion of the right elevator on my 79' Super D is about a 1/2" higher than the left elevator when the forward part of the left elevator is aligned with stabilizer (neutral stick position). There is a 77' Super D at the airport which has the exact same situation on it's elevator. Does anyone know if this is normal? Is this built into the elevator system on purpose? Nothing appears to be bent or out of alignment. The plane flies straight, but this seems odd to me.

Dude if it flys straight is let that big dog eat. Probably the same thing as ligning up one aileron and looking at the other. Godspeed in your quest for knowledge, someone might just post the phone number to American Champion and tell you to call them. Forum has seemed a bit dry the last two months.

We try to get new ones even, but its not an uncommon trait of the airplane throughout its history.
Not sure that was any help, lol
