I've got a '60 7EC converted to a taildragger in pieces awaiting restoration, (I've got to finish recovering my Cruisemaster first).
The wings are rough with at least one splice in both spars on one wing and years of disrepair to contend with. I looks as though these wings are identical to my buddy's much newer 7ECA. If this is true, i'd be more interested in a set of nicer ECA wings than to try and rebuild what I got. I'm not much interested in a factory new set. Any comments?
Also, I'd like to replace the heel brake with toe brakes out of a later Citabria. Is there any paperwork around for this?
I've also got a C-90-16F with a vacuum pump. I'd sure like to take that big venturi off the outside of the airplane and hide the vacuum pump under the cowl. Anyone done that?
