I have recently purchased a 7ECA. It has had a 125 hp 0-290-D installed. I need a 337 or an STC, or Ideas of just how to get it done. The FAA is afraid to do anything right now other than STC's.
Problem #2- the wing spars were squared off as per Buz Wagners drawings but instead of adding his droop tips, they installed Scout Tips. How can I go about getting the Feds to approve this?? It lowered the stall speed 5mph and increased the cruise a few mph. Sure don't want to have to change back to stock tips just to get it legal the easy way.
