I was wondering if any one sells a kit to add fuel injection and a header type fuel system to my bird??

Does any one have a field approved system on their aircraft??

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Okay, so now when you go inverted your engine wont quit....what are you going to do about the zero oil pressure? hehe

The 7KCAB parts would fit in once you weld in the bracket for the header tank. Need a Left Check Valve and some minor line routing, but thats the easy part. Your problems come going firewall forward. Anything can be done with enough money, but how much are you willing to spend?

Have to address the oil pressure. (probably a Cristian System)
Have to convert to an approved Injection system.
Have to address the crank shaft flange...though you could be okay if you keep it light.

Both of the first two are solid 4 digit $$ just for the parts alone, unless you can get real lucky on finding some used.

I dunno, you might be better off finding a decent 8KCAB to sate your need for the negative. Not to mention being a lot more capable.

The christen oil system is about 800 dollars plus labor.
I can implement the header tank system for the fuel. I was hoping there was a better alternative to a full blown fuel injection system.

I am an IA and a previously used field approval's 337 would constitute approved data ( provided I had a copy ), the 337would make this project a very easy task.
