7KCAB Fuel Tank dip stick

Does anyone know of a fuel tank dip stick for the 7KCAB? I'm a new owner and not impressed with the gauge, I'd like more reassurance of how much fuel I have than that. Is there one available from the manufacturer, or one that has been made by a member that I could copy. I could do it myself by emptying the tanks and pumping in the gallons to make a calibrated stick, but no use reinventing the wheel if it's already been done. Anyone?

I tried one of the universal Fuelhawk dip tubes on a 1973 8KCAB with these results:
Start - stick read 2
Added 4 gal - stick read 5
Added 4 gal - stick read 8
Added 3 gal - stick read 11 - tank full
The dip tube read about the same with either tank.
I tried to read quickly before the tanks could drain across. I also tried to hold the stick vertically into the tank each time.
My guess is that by the time either tank was down 13-14 gallons or so, the fuel level would not read on the stick in 3 point attitude.
I don't know how the 8KCAB fuel tanks and volumes compare to the 7KCAB. Dean
