I own an 8GCBC Scout on Wipline 2100A with a 3 blade constant prop.
I am new to float flying (2 seasons) and loving every minute of it. I am finding that there is a new lesson with every condition change. I live on a lake, so having the plane at the house is fantastic.
I am looking for any opinions and/or experiences regarding the Scout, i.e: Useful load? Performance? Is there a better prop for float operation? Specific techniques or quirks?
Should I install Vortex generators? Any comments would be of great value.
