8KCAB Fuel Tank Removal

Hi everyone. Paul from Australia here. My wife and I are refurbing our 8KCAB 1979 and have to remove the fuel tanks. This is a fiddly job and would appreciate any tips on getting them out without doing damage to anything.

The wings are off the aircraft and all fabric removed.

Paul, it's been a few years since I removed the tanks, but this is what I remember.
You need to drill out the rivets holding the 3 top aluminum channels, unbolt the straps, unbolt the diagonal tube. Disconnect fuel and vent lines.
Then I think it will lift out.
