The Hartzell propeller on my 8kcab Decathlon is time expired. The lead time for a new propeller delivered to Australia is 6 to 8 weeks. Does anybody know if there are any alternative props STC'd for the Decathlon?
Hmm, ok, less options. Well, there is something out there I am sure.
Of course if you search for 4 weeks, thats most of the time you would have waited for Hartzell.
Since it's 150 HP you could convert it to a Sensenich fixed pitch and save over $7000, and some weight! The FP was available from the factory so there is no leagal problem. That is what I did on mine.
