19-3A's and Vikings just got hit with a change in their tail support structure AD
- Alexandria's fix kit apparently NFG..so they "fixed ones" are back to periodic
inspection.
Points up a need even for us low powered cruisairs to inspect this area well
at annual.
FAA's estimate to cut out affected tubes, replace, repair fabric,
and repaint..a fantastically low $3500 !
Be that as it may...still beats the cost of repairing a bonanza. :shock:
