As a follow up on ADS-B OUT thread above, some might be interested in the discussion concerning uAvionix SkySensor ADS-B IN and others. The discussion started in the tread above, ADS-B Out with Robert's thoughts July 16th. I'm thinking it might be good to have a separate thread for ADS-B IN.
Comments/thoughts?

I have a GDL 50 with iPad and Garmin Pilot. Still learning. Retained my 496 with Sirius for now. Sky beacon wingtip out. Last couple days between Gunnison, Colorado and the Front Range at up to 16.5 I had no ground based traffic reception most of the way. Seemed like it was updating FIS weather, but not sure about radar, etc. All the lights on the gdl were nominal.As mentioned in a previous thread, it should be possible to mount it under the panel. Don’t quote me, but I think the remote antenna is a Garmin 25MCX, $31.49.
