Aerobatics and Gyros

I assume they are vacuum? You can always pull the breaker if they are electric to save the wear and tear of aerobatics.

FYI-

Unpowered gyros will suffer more damage from aerobatics than operating ones will.

Bill Keshner taught spins and aero in a 150 Aerobat for years and his gyro replacement rate was normal for vacuum powered gyros, almost the same as gyros that were only subjected to straight and level flight. Most of the concern for aerobatics and gyros dates to the days of WWII surplus gyros, modern gyros are designed and built differently.
