When it's too cold or hot to work on my Cruisair, I build little planes- plastic and radio control balsa planes. Any other builders out there (or ex-modelers)?
That's how I got interested in the restoration scene. I might even venture into the recreation/ replica scene one day
I came across a photo of an Alexander Bullet model. If you look at the fuselage shape you'll understand when G.M.B. took notes when he first saw the actual airplane. Someone restored an Alexander Bullet, but I hear it was wrecked recently alas...after many years of work
about rebuilding it- we'll see.
Right now I have a 1/8 scale Bristol F2B (Cleveland plans) on the bench for my R/C endeavours and a 1/72 scale USS Flasher Gato-class sub in the works (54 inches long). Gotta stay busy!
