Autogas or 100LL

I just purchased my first plane, which is a 1976 7 GCBC. With an STC the previous owner used autogas. The airport where I will keep it does not have autogas available, only 100LL. Will I incur any problems switching to 100LL or sHould I endeavor to find a way to keep supplying it with autogas? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Joe:

The STC simply gives you permission to burn auto gas. You're not *required* to use it.

100LL is the approved fuel; go ahead and burn it, they'll make more.

It will burn either just fine. You can mix even. I use mid grade in my 1980 7GCBC,have since I bought the plane, except when the plane is on a trip. the only difference I note is that plug fouling is worse with the 100LL. Oh auto fuel will cause some bad stains on your plane if it gets on it and is not removed.

Jon & Woodie:

Thank you for the advice. Given the difference in price, I would like to keep using the auto gas.
