Brakes

Hello all out there in Bellanca land. First let me say this forum is a great idea.

wanting to add a second set of toe brakes, has anyone out there done, seen, or heard of this being done. I was wondering if Viking toe peddles are the same as the Cruisair's, if so does the Viking have a similar set up and has one been double up.

This puts me in the market for a set of Bellanca toe brake peddles, if anyone has a line on an old set I would welcome the contact.

Bellanca (Alexandria Aircraft) has a kit and I would assume supporting documentation. They seem willing to work with anyone and their pricing has improved. I think they're still working on FAA approval to sell some parts. I'm waiting for info on this subject. Alexandria Aircraft phone # 320 763-4088. They want to know what parts owners want.

Good Luck

Only problem I can see is the diagonal tubing spanning the upper left motor mount bolt down to the lower right. I believe the toe pedals would hit this and prevent actuation of the brakes while turning.
Take your pilot rudder/ brake pedals off and stick them in the passenger side to check clearances before buying a second set.

Thanks for the info. I will double check to see if there is enough clearance for the brake peddles on the right side. I was able to locate some new toe brake peddles anyone wanting this info let me know.
