What size Bush wheels are you guys using?
I have 8.50's now but want to upgrade to 29's or 31's

Alaska Bushwheels sells the tires and wheels that fit my plane.
What I am looking for is people with Bushwheels on their plane now.
What size is preferred?
I will be landing off airport for hunting and camping.
Is the extra weight worth the extra tire sizes?

I run Alaska bushwheel 31s plus a baby bushwheel on my '69 7GCBC up in northwest Alaska. I use them for a lot of gravel bars, beach landings, and unimproved bush strips. I still cruise at 95-100 mph with the power pulled back with a 320 up front.
The baby bushwheel was a significant improvement over the scott for off airfield floatation. It makes taxiing and turning around on soft stuff a lot easier.
