Cargo Pods Available???

I'm just starting the preliminaries of purchasing my first aircraft.

In short, Citabria / Scout seems to be leading the way, however a point of curiosity arises in availability of cargo pods for aircraft. I'm interested in hauling ski's from my prairie home to the hills for winter fun and wonder if anyone knows of, or has access to a cargo pod for the above mentioned a/c - if not, what type may have such a drag inducing beast available?

Also - good dealer contacts in the NW states or W Canada?

Any info greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Jim

Check with the Catabria dealer in Idaho named BackCountry. They have an STC to expand the cargo area back into the tail. It's about 2k if I remember correctly. I can't remember how deep it is, but it is quite deep! I do think ski's would fit but only if you went with a single seat instead of the back seat. The guy who runs the place is Bob Hannah. You can find their info on the American Champion website.

Thanks Joe for the info.
I have pulled Northwest Backcountry's details off the web and will contact them after the weekend. Had a look at a Citabria at the airport this morning and realize that indeed the back seat will have to come out.

Thanks again for your help.
