Does anyone know where and if it is still possible to get plans for the Citabria. They look as though they were are available through company called a & e Aircraft services. Thanks.

You can get everything from us.

$10+ Million and you even get 70 employees to build you a pile of them for ya.

Hey thats a bargain...pushing 19 years of production. :p
Property alone is like half that.

If its RC model, then yeah, we dont have squat.

If you dont want to get people riled up and still want the real thing. I would recommend a basket case one instead.

Jerry- Seems like an appropriate time to say I'm sure there are a LOT of us out here that are SO happy you guys are up there still making planes and parts!!!!! SO THERE! :)

Maybe hes looking for Christavia plans. Those plans are available from Aircraft Spruce

I am infact after actual full size plans. Any help locating these from the company mentioned above would be greatly appreciated. Also any info on manual for a citabria would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Dear Sammac:

All plans and drawings for the 7-, 8- and 11-series airplanes are owned by American Champion Aircraft and are proprietary; they cannot be sold legally. There are usually non-flying Citabrias available that can be restored, however.

This Club has all manuals required to fly and maintain these aircraft and are available to the membership. If you are a member, see page 3 of the Publication Catalog for details. If not, I welcome you to join us - click here https://bellanca-championclub.com/Membership.html

Regards,

Well...............................

On the Aeronca site, I've just asked for input for a fixer upper Champ to be refitted with a Rotec 7 Cylinder Radial.

Jerry - What do you think ?

Might need some plans

How about a 7ECA with a new O-720

As for the basket case comment....I really wasn't joking about that.
IMO its a good substitute if you want to 'do everything'. Also, when you are done, you will actually have a good amount of value. Unlike an airplane build from scratch. Data Plates are good to you like that. :)

Hey Sammac91

if you look back about 9 pages you'll see a post about A Clone Citabria. I pasted the link below. on that post there is a link for plans and Plans and Kit for a Talon AT . Thay show a Picture of what is susopse to be the Talon AT but I really think Not. I was shown a Talon a few years back while taken pic's at an airport and while thay look close to a Citabria but not as good as the Pic on the link. but I may be wrong

Hope this helps

The sad thing about the pic of the 'clone' is that it doen't even look new.
It literally looks like an early 70's 7KCAB and not fabbed at all.

Ah well, whatever
