Hi,
My left wing strobe bulb burned out. I called American Champion for the replacement bulb. They gave me the part number Aeroflash Strobe Wing Tip 153-0009. It is very different from the original. The original had a small rectangular black box (capacitor?) that had wires running to and embedded in the bulb assembly.
The replacement bulb has no black box and has a molex connector.
My mechanic attached a female Molex connector and attached the Aeroflash bulb.
Strobe light still does not work, and mechanic is stumped.
I’m obviously no electrician. If anyone could explain to me what the problem is or offer a solution, I would really appreciate it.
