Hello all
Just wanted to introduce myself.
I just picked up a refurbished 7ECA, 1964 serial # 48, it’s had the aluminum wing spar conversion and a 0200 engine. I am in California.
Thanks Don

Hi Don Congrats on your new plane, have fun. :D :) 8) .
I have a 46 Champ with the 100 horse Cont. great plane.

I have a 66 7ECA with 0-235, and I had the chance to trade planes with a friend for an afternoon. His was the 0-200. I loved it. I think it flew better than mine, although the performance was lower. Lighter, lower horsepower airplanes may be slower and not climb as well, but they are usually have a better feel. (to me anyway) That's why, in my humble opinion, the 7AC Champ is the funnest of the bunch. For pure flying enjoyment, and bang-for-the-buck, you'll have a hard time beating your 7ECA.
