Covering Cruisair Ailerons

I'm finally covering my ailerons and taking pictures of the process. Anyone want to see how I did it?

As soon as the garage warms up a little more, I'll continue. Right now I have the hinge pockets partially covered.
The plan is to cut a wrap-around piece, glue the bottom cover into place, wrap it around the leading edge to cover the hinge pockets and stop- leaving the top of the aileron open for now. I'll tape around the pockets, install the hardware, and THEN continue the cover over the top. It's the only way I could think of to get a truly tidy hinge pocket.
Anyway, I took several photos last night of the partially completed hinge pockets- one of I'll have to redo anyway (got the iron too close to a section that wasn't tacked down yet- rats).
More to come :D

These are "in-progress" pictures of the aileron hinge pockets. As you can see, they're pretty lumpy-looking. I left them that way intentionally to show how the iron (hopefully) will straighten the mess out.
I also included one that will have to be redone. The dirty, plain truth! :D

Hope to iron tomorrow evening and start covering Friday.

Okay- THAT didn't work out too dang well.
On to a trial using two pieces of fabric to cover the pockets.
More this weekend!
