J jerrymjr New member Mar 13, 2013 #2 It was just a change in materials...somewhere around that time. The cowling is the same shape. It saved a few pounds. *shrug* Edit: Unless he means the cowling for the IO-390's That's a whole new design that doesn't retrofit easily.
