Hi there, I'm new to this forum. I'm in the process of re-assembling a Viking for a good friend. The flap outbd. hinge was loose with loose fabric. When I removed the fabric, there was no less than 4 cracks to the spar. The factory repaired the flap. So to all the mech's that repair or work on Vikings take a close look at the hinges for loose hardware to spar attachment and any abnormal distortions in the fabric.
