Cruisair Headliner question/ Landing Gear question

I almost have my new headliner installed. My question is how does it fit up around the trim wheel box and does it go around the handholds or turn and go up and over :?:

Landing Gear: It sure would look great to have it powder-coated instead of painted, but I'm worried the heat from the powder-coating process will do something bad to the gear. Any advice :?:

hey dave!

i've never p.c.'d landing gear, but i know that aviat does the husky and pitts fuselages with p.c.

the temps for p.c. are only 450degF and not for very long. i don't think you're going to do any damage with temps that low. annealling requires 1400-1550 deg F and slow cooling. tempering requires some sort of quenching.

you might call the factory and ask if the gear components are heat treated at all.
