cruisair punch list

I live in East Texas and hangered at 4f2. I purchased a cruisair a few months ago with the intention to fly for a while and then trade up at a later date. But now! I have fallen in love with this aircraft and would like to completely restore it. I have a few minor things like fuel gauge and gear warning light that is not working now ... but also need to patch the rudder and 1 spot on the wing .. repaint. I guess What I would really like to do is get with someone who is familiar with restoring this aircraft (or at least maintaining this aircraft) and would be willing to help me make a punch list to get this ship in the shape it should be in. It is in annual, the franklin 150 is running great, and it is flying .... so I can go to this person. (this also would be a great way for me to met another bellanca enthuastist).

Bring your bird to PVJ this Saturday the 3rd for our monthly flyin and Oklahoma Chapter Antique Airplane Association meeting. I have a Cruise Air and a Cruise Master and I am an IA. We have the meeting about 11:30 and eat chili after that. We are at Paulas Valley about 72 miles up I-35 from the Texas border....Greg

The next meeting is the first Saturday of February. You cna fly up just about any day just call a day before so I know you are coming. I may try to make the Northern Texas chapter AAA meeting this month if I can I will let you know when it is so you can attend if you are not already a member....Greg
 
k ... well new challange ... need a tail wheel assembly ... or at least the wheel and rim as the rubber disapeared on my last landing. know of where I may be able to find ...

I would have to look but I believe the last wheel I bought was a Scott tail wheel and I made a couple of spacers to make up the difference in the width. Where are you located. I am at Hicks just North of Fort Worth T67 :lol: :lol: :lol: .
