Cruisair Wingtip Strobe info needed

I'm running into some flak about installing Whelen wingtip strobes on my 14-13-2. Even showing it's been done on a 14-19 isn't helping. Apparently the FAA wants to see someone has done it successfully on the 14-13 series Bellanca.
Last time I checked they were nearly identical airframes. I can't figure for the life of me why it has to be 14-13 specific :?

Anyway, if anyone has done this to their Cruisair, let me know so I can download the FAA 337 record.

Dave, did I send you the 337 for mine? I have Whelen A-429 nav light/strobe combination. Whelen has since come out with a newer version. Larry
 
Greg-- What's your N number? I can get the records straight from the FAA.

Larry--- for some reason I thought you had a 14-19, not a 14-13 :?:
