Cruisar Cowling/Airbox Interface

I think I posted this question once before but I don't think I got any takers. I am about finished with my cowling repairs/refurbishment. In the process I needed to make a new airbox (thank you to Dan for loaning me one to copy). I know have everything fitting pretty well. The nose bowl seems to have at one time perhaps right angle brackets on the aft face at the air inlet. It would seem that these would interface with the airbox. Does anyone have a picture of this area? The parts manual shows the part but is not clear enough on their installation. It appears that basically the air inlet grill and these right angle brackets would sandwich the nose bowl around the air inlet. Ideas?

Thanks

Use these brackets to attach baffle gasket material so you can seal this joint.
You must seal all possible air leaks from the nosebowl to the carb.
