What kind of cruise speed can i expect with a 150 hp 7gcbc with edo 2000's. The aircraft has the McCaulley 8040 seaplane propeller. Any information would be appreciated.
I would expect to see around 90 mph at 2400 rpm. A 40 pitch is pretty fine, you would probably be overrevving in the climb, I would recommend a twist to 42 or 43. Then you would see about 95+mph.
