Cruisemaster wing removal questions

We are down to a few items before we get our wings off. Yeehaw! the spars look immaculate. :)

Frist, we removed the cotter keys from the wing attachment bolts. We were absolutely shocked to find the nuts either finger tight, or at most 1/2 flat more than finger tight. At least one of them was not even finger tight. Is this the way those 4 big wing attachment bolts should be?

Second, does the gear hydraulic line run over the top of the fuel tank? Or is that the brake line? Can you get that line loose before the wing is seperated? If so, can I borrow your mechanic with the small hands and arm?

Third, where is the other hydraulic line?

Thanks, Bob

Tax man Bob, not to worry on the bolts as they act as pins/pivot point. It would be very helpful if you ordered B20-101 from the club. It's a 260 service manual but the Cruisemaster is the same. It has some great tips on the assembly of the bird. You just can't have enough information when your reinventing the wheel!  Lynn N9818B the crate

Thanks Lynn, ordered it last weekend, but don't know if I'll get it before I have to complete the next steps and get the plane loaded up. :)

Thanks Robert! The manuals came very quickly and answered all my questions.

BTW, it says the wing attachment bolts actually acting like pins, not bolts, so the nuts go on exactly as I found them. I now understand how critical the tolerances of the bolt and hole diameters are!
