deadline for columbia?

Hi all,
Does anyone know the deadline to sign up for columbia?
A last minute family event may prevent me going, and I won't know for sure until that week. Dont want to miss out on the food if I can attend

Based on the email that I received from the club, the advance registration is open "until June 1st", so I guess that means that you should decide to sign up by this Tuesday. This deadline, as I understand it, is so they can commit on the number of dinners to order from the catering folks. As I recall from previous years they usually have a couple extra dinners. Of course you can always just show up without a reservation and pay at the gate, but no guarantees for dinner.
 
I was slightly confused by the "advanced" registration, and didn't know if there was just a normal registration after the 1st but for 2 dollars more a meal

As I understand it, there is a fee for the basic participation in the convention – this probably covers the cost of renting the facilities at Columbia. You can pay this in advance or just show up and pay at that time. But the meals are separate and have to be reserved in advance. You can call Robert or Meredith for more details. Hope you can make it!
 
I am hoping I can make it as well. I guess if I can come and it is past the registration deadline, I will just pack some steaks and such for meals.
