Dumb wiring question (speaking of) about headsets

I'm adding a second headset plug-in point to my new panel. I was planning to just parallel my wiring off the original plug to the second one across the back of the panel.
Am I missing something? My feeling is I need to do some noise suppression (electrical) to prevent the wiring from becoming an antenna.

This will not work. Dave if you have an intercomm, wire it just as the schematic shows. If you don't have an intercomm, get one. OSH bound tomorrow in the Spartan.Lynn the crate :!:

I agree Lynn! I can't imagine not having an ICS. Dave, you can find a decent one on ebay. I have had PS1000-II ever since I've had my plane, and love it. They're all over ebay and Vans Airforce. If you need a wiring diagram I can send you one.

PS-have fun at OSH Lynn!

Dave, the diagrams I have are for installing my PM1000. Rather than send you one, you can just download them at:
http://www.ps-engineering.com/docs/PM1000II%20Install%20Manual.pdf

If you go to their home page, you can get various manuals for any of their intercoms. I looked at ebay, and there are a whole slew of ICS available.

an intercom is the minimum soloution..and a real audio panel is a better one, as it integrates the audio from multiple recievers, headsets, and possibly other sources which talk to you ( gps, annunciators, blue tooth, or music),

I have a 'Joe Magee' installation... where-in the yahoo didn't recognize the intercom capability built into the king radio... used a "portable" intercom (POS !) which resulted in a pax/instructor side headset that hears everything, talks to the pilot, but has no Mike connection to the comm radio .

This is the kind of crap that comes from people who don't know electronics in general, and avionics in specific treating their airplanes like it is the vcr at home.

And it is an unfortunate spill over from our planes being orphans... we HAVE to do much ourselves..but god help us when we don't know what we don't know !
