EGT experience

OK Bellanca boys answer me this question. Does anyone have a 6 position EGT installed on their OPEC 470? The crate has an old Terra Radair 6 position system that is going south, and I am tired of working on it. I'm looking at a Westack system that is less than 500 bucks. It would be nice to know it somebody had this installed and what they thought of it. I replaced the fuel sender system with Westack many years ago and it has not let me down so that is the Canidate plus cheaper than Alcor. Lynn the crate

Westack installed and ops checked. I was surprised to see that #5 cyl was the hottest followed by #3. This was a pretty clean install and less than 500 bucks through Aero Performance. The crate now has overhauled hydraulics and a new EGT system. I hope the Gremlins are satisfied and require no more Green for a good spell. They break when they fly,they break when they sit--your choice. Lynn the crate :!:
