Has anyone seen this kind of black film inside a powerpak? I'm guessing it came from the inside of the hydraulic hoses. Trying decide the best course of action. Thanks!
 
In my case I've bought 2-3 bottles of automotive ATF and washed everything I could with it with the help of an old toothbrush. Then hand pumped it in all modes with ATF, which gave even more dirt out. Only after that I've flushed with 5606 and reassembled the unit.
 
Again, for any problems with the Electrol Power Pack, Rick Cox is the man.
He explained to me that there are stainless steel ball valves that seat in aluminum seats. He replaces the aluminum seats with stainless steel and they won’t wear out and leak. Money well spent. www.coxairparts.com
