Elevator & Rudder cable pulleys

I read on the yahoo citabriapilots forum about a service letter regarding changing from aluminum to phenolic pulleys. I am restoring a '69 ECA and would like to make use of the larger phenolic pulleys with bearings rather than the original aluminum ones if possible. If anyone has any info regarding this topic, please let me know.

I installed the larger pulleys in a 1965 7eca. The problems I had was the elevator cables and pulleys are below the fabric line on the belly. You would need to extend the belly stringer mounts or reposition the pulley attach. The factory did the latter.
The larger pulleys on the rudder cable will require the later style cable guards in the baggage area.

I consider the modification a minor change. No STC was used. The stringers needed only 1/4" in length to clear the belly fabric. I made new "T" section stringer material with the required length.
The baggage area guards I purchased from ACA.
