Franklin Oil Filler Cap Gasket

I need to replace the oil filler cap gasket on my Franklin 165HP. I thought I had found the correct one from real gaskets, PN RG-20849, but was too big. Without further damaging the gasket that is currently on the filler cap, I measured the size at approximetly, I.D. 1 3/16 and O.D. 1 5/8. Anyone have the source for the correct gasket? Thanks in advance.

If you can't find something "off the shelf," make one out of rubber/cork composite gasket sheet.
This is not rocket science. I make one off gaskets, all the time. Though I have a good selection of hole punches, you can make your gaskets by tracing, scissors and xacto knife. Years ago, I made a complete gasket set for a friend's OX-5. This can be a fun project in front of the TV......try it.

Thanks Dan. That was going to be my next option but I got a call from Beverly at Real Gaskets and they made me two (one's a spare becasue you never know) using the measurements I gave them. Great service from Real Gaskets.
