Does anyone have a 337 for an oil filter installation on a 165 (or 150) Franklin on a 14-13? If so, please let me know if I can borrow or buy a copy of it.
The 165 Jamie Treat is building up for me is moving right along - standard crank, no repairs required to the case, new pistons / rings / valves / seats / springs / lifters / cam. I'm also going to install a lightweight starter, an alternator, and a lightweight battery. I want to keep this gem of an engine healthy with a good oil filter - if any of you have been down this road before, I would be most grateful for your thoughts.
FWIW, when the new engine is done, the existing 150 Franklin is going to be for sale. It will be complete with all accessories AND exhaust. The mount will not be included. By that time, the 150 Franklin will have roughly 1300 SMOH and 450 - 500 STOH - I fly a lot - no prop strike and running when removed. All logs since new.
