What are most getting on there 150 franklin's for fuel burn? I have made a couple longer trips to check and it seems as I am getting about 7 1/2 gallon per hour burn at 3/4 throttle.

TJ,
That's about right. Remember you can lean anytime you are not pulling 75% power...any altitude. You should lean on a long taxi, as well.

Hi TJ,

For my 165 HP Franklin I typically see 8 1/2 to 9 GPH at 9,500 or 10,500 MSL and leaned rich of peak.I’d rather spend a little more in AVGAS than cylinder or valve replacements. I flight plan for 10 GPH.
