Can anybody supply me with the exact dimensions of the fuel tank covers on the wings? The other question is how to locate them if you needed access to remove the tank. Lynn the crate
 
Hi Lynn,
If you are still looking for the dimensions and location, I can measure the old one from mine. I have a jig I built to make a new one for the right side if that is of any use to you.

I apologize, I have been traveling a lot and have not been able to get to the hangar. I will be out there next week if you still need the dimensions.

Hi Lynn,
The dimensions are:
Width at front spar 18 5/8"
Width at rear spar 19 3/4"
Length at outboard edge 32 5/8"
Length at inboard edge 34 1/4"

I can cut a paper pattern and mail it to you if that would help. I also attached some pictures (I hope)View attachment 1View attachment 2
 
Sorry it took me so long. I can cut you out a paper template and mail it to you if that will help.
