Fuel measurement gauge

I am a new owner of a 1968 Citabria GCBC. Where can I purchase a fuel gauge (external dipstick) that is calibrated for a Citabria?

I have not seen one for sale that is calibrated specifically for a citabria. I plan to put marks on a paint stir stick at the fuel island the next time my tank is pretty much empty.

Hi Alan, I use a Fuel Hawk for my Champ, it has to be calibrated for your plane/tanks. That takes a little time if you want it accurate, have to drain the tanks and then add fuel in the increments that you want, like 5 gals at a time on the Champ that meant putting in 5 gals and waiting for the tanks to equalize marking the fuel gage calibration chart and then adding more, etc.
These are available as posted many places for about $12.00, look in the Wag-areo cat on page 6 for the universal Fuel Hawk.
They work good but as posted a calibrated paint stick would do the same.
