Gear straightening

I have a customer with an 8KCAB that needs the gear legs straightened. (one wing lower than the other)
When I rebuilt my 8KCAB 11 years ago there was a company that did this, they reheat treated them when they were done.
Does anyone know if this company is still doing this?
Jerry, what does ACA do with sagging gear when they rebuild an aircraft?
Thanks, Bill Becker

Every time I asked someone, they said "just take it to a truck suspension place". Not being willing to risk my IA on that, I bought a used replacement. Almost straight, not quite. I know ACA refurbishes gear when they get them in (They had an exchange price for me, but no part to exchange, so it was pointless). Rainbow will do it too. Expensive, but probably worth it is the Alu gear option, which I'm sure is what ACA really wants to see people do.

Its to the point where production of steel gear is more costly than aluminum. Been that way for a while, unfortunately, because its a great item to sell in spare parts. Always someone with a 'not so smooth' landing. :)

We don't refirb gear, we take trade-ins towards aluminum. So, we try to collect good used gear (within tolerance) and sell it based on availability. Some stuff (Scout steal gear) is just hard to keep around. Have a waiting list for those.

Aluminum is expensive, but it really is an upgrade. As the years go by (I think 10 years now) and people do 'things' to their airplanes, the piece impresses me more and more.
